About Us

The Wyoming County Dairy Institute was developed to provide workforce development opportunities for the dairy industry in the Western New York region. This initiative, partially funded by the New York State Center For Dairy Excellence, provides standalone learning modules that can lead to certification as a herdsperson if all modules are completed. Individuals not desiring certification may select individual modules.

 

Target Audience

Farmers, farm workers and youth seeking to enter the employment market.

You can apply online here or stop by the Cornell Cooperative Extension office at 401 North Main Street in Warsaw, NY.

 

Cost Per Module

  • Cornell Cooperative Extension Enrollee $100
  • Non-Enrollee $120

All modules are eligible for:

  • Continuing Education Credits
  • Alfred State College Credit ($55 per module)
