9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
The Wyoming County Cornell Cooperative Extension Master Gardeners, are sponsoring their 6th annual Garden Day on Saturday, May 7th from 9:00am until 1:00pm, outside the Cornell Cooperative Extension building, 401 North Main Street, Warsaw.
This event is free and open to the public. Garden Day is a plant sale and more. Shop, watch, participate, learn, relax, and entertain the kids – beneath the tent under the theme of “Made in the Shade/Fun in the Sun”.
Healthy, reasonably-priced annuals, perennials, vegetables, and herbs will be for sale.
Master Gardeners will be present, to test your soil sample (from at least 6 inches below the ground surface) for pH and to help troubleshoot gardening problems. (The most useful soil samples are a mixture of several spots in the garden dried and placed in a zip lock sandwich bag.)
On May 7th there will be something for everyone! Demonstrations will be ongoing. Refreshments will be available. Activities include a basket auction, children’s face painting and seed planting exercise, Local vendors will be present and have a vast array of items.
Join us under the tent for a fun morning!
