The service project ideas range from simple activities (start a crime clue box) to large scale projects that involve whole communities (host a recycling fair). Youth can choose from a variety of topics or use the suggestions as springboards for their own ideas.
The suggestions in this book can be altered, simplified or enhanced to fit your needs. There are also sections entitled “Ten steps to successful service projects” and “Service project how-tos”. Step-by-step instructions on how to get started on and carry out a project, plus unique fund-raising ideas like “Cow-pie Bingo”, are included.
