Welcome to Cornell Cooperative Extension of Westchester County
Incubation and Embryology Project 2014
Welcome to the Westchester County 4-H Incubation and Embryology Project. Last spring, we hatched ducklings and chicks in classrooms all over our county, in the Bronx, Brooklyn and Manhattan, too. The ducklings were placed with 4-H club members in Western New York.
Cornell University Cooperative Extension will be offering the opportunity to hatch eggs in the classroom next year. The Incubation and Embryology Project is an interdisciplinary project that offers classroom teachers the opportunity to satisfy science, math and ELA core requirements. “Learning to learn” is basic to this project. Please be very careful and use your school calendar when planning your set date and return date.
All fertile eggs MUST be preordered. There will be no equipment or eggs available for walk-ins. All eggs and supplies must be collected by you from the CCE 4-H office in Valhalla. No phone orders and no shipping.
Pick up dates will be scheduled soon.
