2009 Arborist (ISA) Certification Training Starts Wednesday!
Training Sessions:  Wednesday February 11, 18 and Wednesday March 4, 11, 2009 from 12:30 - 5PM 
Certification Exam:  March 27, 2009 at 8:30 AM (doors open at 8:00 AM)

A training program designed to assist green industry professionals in obtaining the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) Certified Arborist designation.  Attendees of this program will gain an increased knowledge of practices pertaining the care of trees including identification, proper pruning, and safety.  Certified arborists may also attend select sessions for review and qualify for Continuing Education Units (CEU's) - each session has been awarded 4 ISA CEU's.

Environmentally Responsible Management Strategies for Municipal Athletic Fields & Grounds
 
Attend a program designed to provide an update about the latest integrated practices & research information pertaining to Environmentally Responsible Management Strategies of Athletic Fields & Grounds.  Topics will include 'Instituting an Environmentally Responsible Pest Management Program for Turf' and 'Establishing & Maintaining a Low Maintenance Landscape.'  In addition to staff from municipalities and school districts, private contractors that manage municipal and school athletic fields and grounds are invited to attend.
