Urban and Community Forestry Conference
Wednesday, January 28, 2009, at the Westchester County Center, White Plains, NY.

This program is designed to give municipal specialists, community groups and tree care professionals an update on various tree establishment and maintenance practices in the urban landscape.  This year's keynote speaker will be Dr. E.Thomas Smiley from the Bartlett Research Laboratories and Adjunct Professor at Clemson University.  A number of professional certification / license recertification credits will be available.

2009 Arborist (ISA) Certification Training
Training Sessions:  Wednesday February 11, 18 and Wednesday March 4, 11, 2009 from 12:30 - 5PM 
Certification Exam:  March 27, 2009 at 8:30 AM (doors open at 8:00 AM)

A training program designed to assist green industry professionals in obtaining the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) Certified Arborist designation.  Attendees of this program will gain an increased knowledge of practices pertaining the care of trees including identification, proper pruning, and safety.  Certified arborists may also attend select sessions for review and qualify for Continuing Education Units (CEU's).
