  • Impact 2006
During 2006, 219 adults, representing 524 family members, participated in nutrition education opportunities within our county. We offer six to seven lessons in a series, delivered over time, allowing participants the opportunity to develop skills, increase knowledge and incorporate changes into their daily lives. Of the enrolled adults, 171 (78%) graduated their series of lessons. Additionally, 36 youth received education designed to increase their awareness of healthy eating and the benefits of being physically active. These efforts are the result of 4 community education staff or 3 FTE’s (full time equivalents).
