NY Farm Net provides support to farmers and farm communities in many
ways. Foodroutes is a non-profit organization dedicated to educating people about where their food comes from. The site has lots of good information and you can request a free educational toolkit. Healthy Farmers Healthy Profits is a University of Wisconsin project to address the lack of ergonomics in small scale farming. There is good information, printable tipsheets and design ideas to reduce body strain during farm work. Growing New Farmers is a project based out of the New England Small Farm Institute in Belchertown, MA. It is a support program and network to aid New England new farmers in their enterprises. at Cornell University is a great resource for both farmers and people
who work woth farmers.
