Dairy and Equine Facts
Over 170 dairy farms have 22,800 cows producing 362 million pounds of milk with an average of 15,900 pounds of milk per cow.

Washington County's 3,900 equines were ranked 18th in inventory in NYS in 2005 and were valued at $40.45 million.
