We believe that having local farms and farmland is vital to our future. The Agricultural Stewardship Association is a non-profit land trust that was founded in 1990 by local farmers, agribusiness representatives, and conservationists to protect land for agricultural use in the Washington County, NY region. The mission is accomplished through land conservation and stewardship programs and public education efforts. ASA also administers the Washington County Purchase of Developement Rights (PDR) Program.

Our Hereford-Angus beef cattle are grass and hay fed and grass-finished and our Berkshire, Hampshire, Yorkshire Pigs are natural, non-GMO grain fed. Rotational grazing is practiced and no antibiotics, growth hormones, pesticides, or herbicides are used. Meat is available at the farm in most cuts frozen, cryovac wrapped, USDA processed or can be custom cut during the grazing season for beef and year round for pork.
