Mineah Road once ran from Dryden Road (NY Route 13) in the north to Mount Pleasant and Ringwood Roads in the south, but today a large section of it has been abandoned, used only as a farm lane by Cornell's vehicles. Much of this track is flanked by numbered bird houses, probably from a research project. The area has a nice mix of farm fields and woods, and the altitude offers some nice panoramic views. This walk can easily be combined with the neighboring Mount Pleasant natural area owned by Cornell.
