Culturally Sensitive Parenting (C.S.P.)

This program, based on the nationally acclaimed Effective Black Parenting™ curriculim, teaches tools and strategies on how to parent children from diverse cultures to become healthy, proud and capable individuals. Culturally Sensitive Parenting helps to foster effective family communication, healthy identities, positive self-esteem, extended family values, growth and development for children from all cultures and socio-economic levels.

C.S.P. Worshops meet weekly for 8 2-hour sessions in the Fall and Spring.

There is no change for the workshops, but registration is requested to arrange for childcare and snacks.

The CSP workshop is highly useful for parents, foster parents, caregivers and others for whom raising awareness of culture and tolerance is important.

Contact: Anna Steinkraus at 272-2292, ext. 145.
