Krall Garden

612 South Plain Street, Ithaca

Krall Garden  Krall Garden

Krall Garden  Krall Garden

This garden is a great example of making the most of a small, urban backyard. The gardens unfold from a rear deck, along a stone dust path that takes the visitor past a charming garden house and lush perennial beds to a central, hedged lawn area.   From here views of the shaded woodland garden beyond lead to a raised bench that overlooks the passage just taken. One of a kind birdhouses and garden sculptures create moments of amusement and reflection within beds of both sun and shade loving plants.

Directions: From Route 13 in Ithaca, turn onto Clinton Street. Stay on Clinton for 2 blocks, then turn right onto Plain Street. #612 is on the right after crossing the creek. Park on either side of the street.

Proceeds from this garden will be shared with the Tompkins County Community Beautification Program.
