This garden is full of surprises. Screened from the road by large trees and a brook, this one-acre property is planted with a huge variety of perennials, annuals, shrubs and trees. Meandering paths made of different paving materials wind through lush gardens to a gazebo and then on to the brook. A terrace is filled with container plantings of tropical annual and overlooks a small water feature. A woodland garden is nestled under the mature evergreen trees. Garden art, statuary and a collection of unusual birdhouses provide focal points throughout the garden.

Directions: From Ithaca, take Rt. 13 north to the Triphammer Road exit. Turn right at the traffic light onto Triphammer Road. At the Community Corners intersection bear right to stay on Triphammer Road. After this intersection, Iroquois Place is .3 of a mile on the right. 102 is the second house on the right. Park in the street, not in the driveway.

Proceeds from this garden will be shared with the Tompkins County Community Beautification Program.
