Citizen Pruners Volunteer Training Begins
Mon, April 2, 7-8:30 pm
Do you want to learn proper pruning practices for trees and shrubs and get lots of practice doing it? If so, become a volunteer Citizen Pruner. Training takes place in April; from May to October volunteers work 1 1/2 hours weekly in locations throughout the City of Ithaca pruning trees and shrubs in public spaces. For questions or a volunteer application, contact Monika Roth at 272-2272. All training classes will be held at the Cooperative Extension Education Center from 7-8:30 pm. Note different time on April 30.
