Water Logging is a water quality monitoring program with the goals of using field monitoring as an educational tool and an outreach experience. The program is foremost concerned with developing a stewardship of our local bays and waters. Water Logging further serves to screen for water quality impairments, determine long-term water quality trends, and provide useful water quality data to interested parties. The name, "Water Logging", is dervied from a ship’s log which is used to keep a record of the ship's occurrences at sea. In this program, we are “logging” water quality parameters.

*Cornell Cooperative Extension, a federally designated 501-c-3 not-for-profit organization is funded through county state and federal partnerships and participation fees, and secures project support from foundations, corporations, local businesses and individuals.
