Primary Responsibilities:
Manage all the eelgrass monitoring programs
Oversee eelgrass restoration field work and greenhouse
Provide a community resource for seagrass and algae-based (marine and freshwater) issues
Conduct floral surveys and community mapping of preserved lands
What I really do:
Monitoring and planting eelgrass all over Long Island
Mapping eelgrass meadows from historic and current aerial photographs
Answer any questions posed to CCE regarding algae
Make Chris’s schemes reality
What I do for fun:
SCUBA, fishing, kayaking, canoeing, etc. (anything on/in the water)
