Back to Site Locations Directions for Your Visit to Cornell Cooperative Extension of Suffolk County Peconic Dunes Summer Camp From Western Long Island Take the Long Island Expressway to last exit (73).Go East on Route 58 around Central Suffolk Hospital Circle. Continue East (straight) 7/10 mile after circle. Make left on Northville Turnpike (Route 43N) (Fleet Bank will be on the right). Continue heading north through traffic lights (to end) and make a right turn on Sound Avenue (Route 48). Continue approximately 11-1/2 miles on Route 48 to Amoco Gas Station (only gas station on right). Get in left lane. Make a left turn on Mill Lane to first right, which is Soundview Avenue.
