Questions and Diagnostics

There are a variety of ways to have your horticultural questions and problems answered. 

  • Call our office.  If a volunteer or staff member is not readily available, please leave your name and contact information and the nature of your question or problem and someone will get back to you as soon as possible with an answer.
  • Call the hot line. Cornell Cooperative Extension of Seneca County has a Master Gardening hot line.  Master Gardeners will be available every Tuesday and Thursday from 9AM to 11AM April through October to answer your lawn and garden questions.  Simply call 315-539-9251 ext 115 and get your questions answered. 

    The hot line can help you with many areas related to gardening or your environment.  Including soil issues, plant and insect ID, plant diseases, composting, nuisance wildlife, plant selection, invasive species, lawn care or any garden related question.

    Take advantage of this free service today!  The CCE of Seneca County Master Gardener volunteers are waiting to help you solve your yard and garden problems or simply get you started gardening.
