EAST and SOUTH

From East or South of Schenectady: Take Thruway Exit 25 onto 890 West. Exit at Broadway (#5). Bear right and take Veeder Ave up hill. This goes past fire house and county building and becomes Nott Terrace. After passing Holiday Inn, the Annie Schaffer Senior Center is on the right. Walk up the driveway between Annie Schaffer Senior Center and Better Body Works and enter front entrance.
 

WEST

From West of Schenectady: Take Thruway Exit 26 onto 890 East. Exit at Broadway (#5), take a left (several traffic lights), continue to next traffic light. Bear right and take Veeder Ave up hill. This goes past fire house and county building and becomes Nott Terrace. After passing Holiday Inn, the Annie Schaffer Senior Center is on the right. Walk up the driveway between Annie Schaffer Senior Center and Better Body Works and enter front entrance.

NORTH

From Ballston Spa: Take Rt. 50 South to Rt. 5 East in Scotia to Schenectady (Rt. 5 is same as State St. in Schenectady). Continue on State St., past Proctor's Theatre on right. Bear right up hill past County Court House. Get into left lane and turn left onto Veeder Ave. which becomes Nott Terrace. Continue straight. After passing Holiday Inn on the left, the Annie Schaffer Senior Center is on the right. Walk up the driveway between Annie Schaffer Senior Center and Better Body Works and enter front entrance.

From North of Schenectady: Route 7 West from Northway. Bear right onto Union St.. At traffic light by Union College, turn left onto Nott Terrace. Drive past Friendly's, cross over Eastern Parkway and the Annie Schaffer Senior Center is on the left. Walk up the driveway between Annie Schaffer Senior Center and Better Body Works and enter front entrance.

At corner of Nott Terrace and Eastern Parkway is the Annie Schaffer Senior Center. Behind this building is Schaffer Heights (10 floors). On the right side of the Senior Center (still on Nott Terrace) there is a circular drive leading to the main door. Elevator to third floor is to the left.

Central Park Greenhouse Directions

Directions to Central Park Greenhouse (from CCESC main office): From Nott Terrace, turn right on Eastern Parkway - follow past Price Chopper - turn right on Central Pkwy. Follow Central Pkwy. through residential section. Continue straight through 4-way intersection (near Central Park gate and rose garden). Turn right on Ptl. Arthur Chaires Lane (formerly Courtside Lane). Greenhouse is on left.

1044 State St., Schenectady, NY 12307: From I-890 WEST: Take Exit 6 (Michigan Avenue) off of I-890 W to Brandywine Avenue. Turn right onto Brandywine Avenue. Take Brandywine to State St. and turn LEFT onto State St. / NY-5. Stop at 1044 State St., Schenectady, NY 12307 (left hand side).
