Mission:  The Agriculture/Horticulture Sustainability program supports growers, communities and residents by encouraging the implementation of management and production practices that are environmentally, economically and socially sustainable and that are based on unbiased research. 

The goals of CCE,SC's Agriculture & Horticulture Programs are to:

Provide educational and technical support to growers, communities and individuals to utilize best management practices in agriculture, horticulture and home gardening.

Improve the economic status of local farmers, through the development of a regional economy, driven by new markets and value added products

Increase the availability, awareness and consumption of locally produced foods and other agricultural products by the general public.

Provide educational and training opportunities to the agricultural and horticultural industry and the general public on integrated pest management and best management practices.
