Cornell
Cooperative Extension of Putnam County, along with Cornell Cooperative
Extension of Westchester County and Cornell University have developed
a 12-step program to lawncare that protects water quality. They
have produced a 12-month almanac that takes the reader through the
year's tasks that will provide a green lawn and clean water. You
can have both!
There
is also a presentation that goes along with the The Homeowner's
Lawn Care and Water Quality Almanac. Trained Cornell Cooperative
Extension Volunteers and Staff can come to your group and deliver
the Green Lawns / Clean Water talk. To schedule a program, please
call Dianne Olson at Cornell Cooperative Extension of Putnam County,
845-278-6738, or email her at dko3@cornell.edu.
