Join us as we celebrate the tenth anniversary of the Relatives and Parents Program (RAPP). "We Are Family" will include these topics of interest: Legal Concerns for the Relative Caregiver, Financial Future Planning, and Caregiving in the Media Age. The conference is FREE for caregivers registered in the RAPP program in Orange, Dutchess or Ulster counties and open to all others for $40.

Relatives As Parents Program (RAPP)

RAPP is an ongoing education and support program for grandparents and relatives who are providing primary care for relative children. Monthly support groups, educational resources, youth programs and other support services are available at several Orange County locations. Educational seminar topics for 2007 may include: Legal issues, Living well, Keeping kids safe, and Working with your child's school.

Fall 2008 Coffee & Conversation Schedule

Monthly Coffee & Conversation Support Groups meet from fall through springfrom 6:30 - 8 pm and are offered at:

Middletown - meets the first Tuesday
Monhagen Middle School, County Rte. 78, Middletown

Central Valley - meets the first Thursday
Central Valley Elem., Rte. 32

Newburgh - meets the second Tuesday
Independent Living, 5 Washington Terrace
