Graze NY

Onondaga County CCE is collaborating with Onondaga County Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD) to conduct the Graze NY Program. This program encourages the use of rotational grazing of pastures to maximize forage intake and minimize the use of purchased feeds. We have set up a program this year to assist grazing producers even further by offering soil and forage samples analysis; plus we have some equipment to borrow(fence posts, fencer and polywire). If you are a farmer in Onondaga County, and are interested in having us analyze your grazing operation give us a call at 424-9485 (Roberta Harrison ext. 226 You can also e-mail Roberta Harrison.
