With funding from the United States Department of Agriculture, Cornell Cooperative Extension of Oneida County created a unit on energy. It includes individual lessons on energy basics, renewable & non-renewable energy, resources & energy conservation, and stewardship for grades 1st-3rd and 4th -6th. While the lesson presentations were developed using Smart Board technology, detailed teachers guides for each lesson can be used as a stand-alone lesson plan, or in conjunction with the Smart Board. Each lesson has been developed with New York State learning standards in mind. We value your questions , comments and feedback. We are interested in learning about how you have used these lessons in your classroom. Please direct your comments to Kristi Cranwell, kac292@cornell.edu for grades 1-3 curriculum or Sara Meays, st248@cornell.edu for grades 4-6 curriculum. |
