PARENTING WORKSHOPS (fee: $100 per hour)
DISCIPLINE "...because I said so!"
Should the parents of today's children return to the authoritarian style of yesteryear? In this session, parents explore ways to promote positive behavior while preserving their child's self-esteem.

TAMING THE TUBE
Children, even young children, watch nearly four hours of television and other electronic media daily, and most of what they watch is intended for adult audiences. Participants will discuss what's good and what's bad about electronic media. They will learn ways to control and counteract the influences of television.

HELPING YOUR CHILD SUCCEED IN SCHOOL
Teachers, parents, and children...we all have roles to play in a successful school year. This workshop explores ways to strengthen communication between home and school, responsibilities of teachers, parents, and children, and ways to encourage your child's academic success.

TALKING ABOUT TODDLERS
Practical advice and tips on parenting toddlers...toddler discipline, safety, potty training, and activities for toddlers.
