Agriculture & Natural Resources: CCE supports our local agriculture industry with educational programs and technical services for rural residents with commercial & part-time agricultural business enterprises. Programs related to dairy farming, livestock management, agronomy, ag economic development, natural resources, horticulture, maple production and much more. Vegetable Industry Cornell's Department of Horticulture Vegetable Product Program: The Cornell Commercial Vegetable Production program is a cooperative effort between Extension educators and horticulturists, entomologists, pathologists, economists, and engineers at both the New York Agricultural Experiment Station in Geneva and academic departments in Ithaca. New York State Agriculture Experiment Station: Horticultural scientists conduct research on temperate fruits and vegetables of importance to New York agriculture, and on all kinds of seeds. Cornell's Vegetable MD Online Vegetable MD Online was developed to provide access to the many Vegetable Disease Fact Sheets produced over the years by Media Services at Cornell. The addition of color photographs enhances the use of these sheets for plant disease diagnosis. Seed Potato Program: Provides information on seed growers, seed Certification, different potato varieties and more. Ask the Plant Doctors "What's wrong with these plants?" is a phrase gardeners ask themselves every summer. Often, with a little common sense and some keen observation, it is easy to find the answer. The following is a guideline that home gardeners may find useful in diagnosing problem.
