4-H Camp Owahta is a unique and beautiful facility that is available year-round to schools, churches, youth groups, and families in the Central New York region.

The camp's 128 acre facility includes: five miles of marked woodland nature trails, a large pond, a 5 acre recreation field, basketball and hockey courts, a sand volleyball court, a recreation/dining lodge, large open pavilion, activity buildings, an infirmery, and bathhouses.

Camp Owahta is located 10 miles east of Cortland, off Rt. 41 in the township of Solon.

Camp Owahta has developed both a Day Camp and a Residential Camp programs. Day Camp is geared toward children ages 6-14, while Residential Camp is designed for children ages 8-14. The Camp's facilities provide accommodations for 90 resident campers and 50 day campers per week and offers six, week long camp sessions each year. Every session emphasizes a special "dress up" day that relates to the theme of the week.

There are variety of 2 and 3-day, overnight trips that are offered to Resident Campers including: canoeing, kayaking, fishing, horseback riding, biking and backpacking.

Day Campers also have an outing once a week to places like: the Ithaca Science Center, the Burnett Park Zoo, Miniature Golfing, Bowling, or a special Theatre Day.
