Horticulture
Cornell Cooperative Extension of Clinton County has a wealth of information available to the commercial horticulture professional and homeowner on lawn care, vegetable gardening, fruit production, flower gardening, landscaping, houseplants, wildlife, natural resources, insects, and much more. Whether you want to know how to grow a better tomato, how to attract birds and butterflies to your yard, or how to control grubs in the lawn, we will do our best to help you find research-based answers.
If you are a home gardener, we highly encourage you to visit our home gardening website located at http://ecgardening.cce.cornell.edu. There you will find the more current list of our upcoming workshops, our on-line factsheet collection, our gardening newsletter North Country Gardening, links to Cornell University's Gardening Webpage, and much more! It's a great resource for staying current on all your home gardening needs.
Another great way to find the answer to your lawn and garden questions is to call, stop by the office, or e-mail your question to askmg@cornell.edu.
If you are a commercial gardener, please visit our page dedicated to market producers. There you will find upcoming events for market producers, resources, and much more!
