Lawn & Garden
Cornell Cooperative Extension of Clinton County has a wealth of information available to the homeowner on lawn care, vegetable gardening, fruit production, flower gardening, houseplants, wildlife, natural resources, insects, and much more. Whether you want to know how to grow a better tomato, how to attract birds and butterflies to your yard, or how to control grubs in your lawn, we will do our best to help you find the answer.
One of the best ways to find the answer to your lawn and garden questions is to call or stop by the office. You can also check out our on-line factsheet library where you can find factsheets on a variety of topics.
If you are an avid gardener you may want to consider becoming a master gardener volunteer. We are currently accepting applications for the 2008 training class. While there is a considerable time commitment to the program, the rewards are many. For more information, visit the Master Gardeners of Clinton and Essex Counties.
And don't forget to check out our Upcoming Events for educational workshops, tours, and fun events!
