Here's your shot: 4-H Photography Program at the Plattsburgh Public Library
Clinton County 4-H Youth Development is starting a photography program for middle school students, to be held at the Plattsburgh Public Library. This 5-week class is free and open to the public.
Classes are Thursdays from 3-5 PM at the Plattsburgh Public Library, starting February 28 and going to March 27, 2008. To register, contact CCE Clinton County by February 15. Class size is limited to the first 10 participants to register. There will be cameras available to borrow—you don’t need to own one to be part of the class.
The theme of this class will be: "Hold on tight to your dreams." Students will talk about goals for the future, how can they be accomplished, and things that represents you and your goal. Learn about camera control, lighting, dimensions, and special effects that can be done with cameras, as well as some history of Kodak, the camera, and all the changes. Practice using software to edit digital photos. Find out about careers in the field of photography and talk to a professional photographer.
