Teen Leadership Opportunity: Program Committee Membership

The Family and Youth Program Committee is an advisory committee to the CCE Clinton County Board of Directors. This committee is responsible for advising the Board and staff about what kinds of youth and family programs are needed for Clinton County. They also are ambassadors for the program, building awareness and support within the community for CCE family and youth programming.

Teen member appointments are year-long terms (for the duration of the 4-H year). We are looking for 2-3 teen members for the new year. Members may serve 2 consecutive terms. Interested teens may fill out an application. Applications are due by September 30.

This is a great opportunity to have your voice heard about what you think is important for Clinton County 4-Hers and the program. Send in your application today!

4-H Clubs

4-H programs can take several forms. You can join a 4-H Club, a group of at least 5 members with adult volunteers leaders. Clubs choose their own activities from 4-H projects and design their program year. Youth enrollment in 4-H is $10 for the year, not to exceed $25 per family (no one is refused membership because of financial hardship-please contact us).

New members sometimes join existing clubs or start a new club. Starting a club is easy!

Special Interest Programs

Special Interest programs are usually shorter term activities based around specific interests. You can sign up for as many of these as you'd like. Sometimes fees apply, and they may vary depending on program materials and needs.
