Community Service

Youth Community Action is a new way to approach a familiar activity.  It’s a term that youth coined, specifically related to community service with “young people doin’ stuff, contributing to community.”  YCA promotes youth/adult partnerships, enhances a youth’s sense of self-efficacy, and contributes to positive change in communities.  Youth partnering with community members in order to create positive change is the essence of Youth Community Action.

4-H Club Members participate in a myriad of community service activities each year. Check out the 4-H Map of Community Service to see how they've made a difference in your community!
