New York State 4-H Forestry Weekend
May 8-10, 2009 at Camp Owahta, Cortland County, NY

Join youth from across the state for a weekend of forestry activities, games, and competition. This three-day event is for youth ages 10 and up (and staff and volunteers!) interested in learning more about forests, and to select the NYS team that will go to the 2009 National 4-H Forestry Invitational (must be age 14-19 for the national event).
The Forestry Weekend activities will include tree identification, compass usage, insects and diseases, outdoor cookery, nature games, night hikes and more! Cost: $35 per person: includes food, materials, and cabinlodging. (A $95 value!). Space is limited, so register now!

Camp Owahta is located 10 miles east of Cortland, off Rt. 41 in the township of Solon.
