Learn how to become a Master Forest Owner Volunteer! Gary Goff, director of the MFO program at Cornell University will outline the requirements and responsibilities of being an MFO, and the training required.

Getting Started with Geocaching - Fun with your GPS!
6:30 pm, rain date August 6 at the Rogers Environmental Education Center, Rte 80, Sherburne

Think you know all there is to know about dairy cows? Starting at 6pm, dairy stations will be set-up to test your knowledge of the cow and everything that goes with her. Competition levels: Cloverbud, Cloverbud, Novice, Junior, Intermediate, and Senior. Contest open to all 4-H’ers. Sign-up in the dairy barn until Thursday 5:00pm on a first-come, first-serve basis. Prizes for all!
Sat., Aug. 15th Ag Olympics
Start training now to be an Olympic Champion! The fastest time in the following age divisions will win an Olympic Champion T-shirt!! Divisons: Clvoerbud, Junior, Senior, Adult. Sign-up in the dairy barn until Saturday, 3pm - begins at 4pm.

Location: Arnot Teaching and Research Forest,
VanEtten, NY (Schuyler County)
Registration deadline: August 19, 2009
Master Forest Owner (MFO) volunteers arrange site visits with interested forest owners. The volunteers back up their years of experience with training provided by Cornell Cooperative Extension.
