Clean Riverbanks is a Chemung County river clean up project.
Volunteers help plan and/or participate in picking up trash along the river and bridges of the Chemung River. For more information contact Jim Pfiffer, 607-271-8277.

Meeting dates and volunteer clean up dates are listed on the events page.
Volunteers must be at least 12 years old.
Signed copies of adult and minor waiver of liability forms are required to participate.
Clean Riverbanks is partially financed by NYS Department of Environmental Conservation.


Launch Site Carry-in/Carry-out bags are available in launch site kiosks!
Volunteers provide the energy needed to collect trash along the rivers in the watershed.
Businesses and agencies can help by donating water for volunteers, garbage bags or other supplies.
