Chemung County is recycling in a new way!

  • Instead of separating plastic, glass, newspapers, etc. into separate bins, homeowners can now mix all appropriate recyclable materials into one bin for collection.
  • Take note: Plastic bags should not be included in the recycling bin.

Got Paint?
Harden it by exposing it to air or mixing it with kitty litter. When it is hardened, remove the paint from the can, and place it in the trash with the can, with the lid removed.
