Electronics Recycling

Due to the NYS Electronic Equipment Recycling and Reuse Act, the Electronic Recycling Voucher Program will come to an end on April 30, 2011.

The Electronic Recycling Voucher Program is offered through Cornell Cooperative Extension of Chemung County with funding by Chemung Landfill, LLC, a division of Casella Waste Services and by Chemung County. This program has been provided to Chemung County residents, free of charge.

Vouchers will continue to be available at Cornell Cooperative Extension, Monday to Friday, 8:30 to 4:30, through Friday, April 15th. All vouchers will expire April 30, 2011.

Chemung County residents are encouraged to periodically check the county website at www.chemungcounty.com and watch for advertising relating to future Electronics Recycling collection programs.
