4-H Award Trip Sponsorship Program

Please consider a three-year commitment to sponsor a 4-H award trip. Your sponsorship will allow us to continue to provide recognition for 4-H achievement, in addition to incentives for further learning. Youth will also be provided the opportunity to explore careers, learn life skills, communication skills and responsibility.

Every child needs to be recognized, rewarded and motivated. Awards used for recognition or reward enhance the self-satisfaction a member feels when he/she has worked hard and knows that a good job has been done. As an incentive, awards are meant to encourage a member to try even harder - “to make the best better.” Educational trips are available to eligible 4-H teen members, based on achievement, leadership, personal growth, cooperation, and outstanding work in a specific project area. These trips provide 4-H youth with in-depth learning experiences in areas such as state and federal government, agriculture, citizenship, leadership, campus life and career exploration. They also provide the opportunity to meet and exchange experiences with delegates from all 62 counties in New York State.
