Warsaw Village Park
The Master Gardeners at Cornell Cooperative Extension, Wyoming
County, are sponsoring Art in the Garden, a Home Grown garden
celebration, on Saturday, May 12th from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
at the Legion Hall in the Warsaw Village Park. The event is free
and open to the public.
Sally Cunningham, widely respected gardening expert, consultant, author, and media personality, will be speaking on Great Plants, Great Gardens from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Seating is limited so come early.
Master Gardeners will be present to do free pH soil testing and answer gardening questions. Other activities include a plant sale, Chinese Auction, Silent auction, and Bake Sale. A delicious homemade soup and herbal bread luncheon will be available for a nominal fee.
Throughout the day Wyoming County artists - Susan Hengelsberg (storyteller and musician), Sarah Hoeppner (watercolorist), and Mary Houston (acrylic painter) - will share their talents.
