Why volunteer with the Beautification Program?
*Learn about gardening techniques that work in tough sites*
*Meet other fun and dedicated volunteers*
* Beautification Brigade t-shirts for all volunteers*
*Help make your community a more beautiful place to live*
Volunteer Commitment and Schedule
Volunteeers work weekly from May through October. Each work session lasts approximately
2 hrs. Tools, gardening gloves and instruction are provided. One morning and one evening session
is held each week, and volunteers can choose the session that works best with their schedules.

One-time volunteer opportunities!
One-time volunteer opportunities
From
April to October, there are a wide variety of gardening and landscaping projects
in Ithaca that can use YOUR HELP!
The plantings in city parks and on the Commons get weeded, mulched, and planted
with flowers, shrubs, and bulbs almost
entirely by volunteers.
Your group can Adopt-A-Park for a season, or help out on a one-time basis. For more information about volunteering and training, call 272-2292, extension 123, or e-mail Dan Klein at dek22@cornell.edu
