4-H Welcomes Nicole Olsen and Amanda Speer
Cornell Cooperative Extension welcomes Nicole Olsen as Administrative Assistant in Membership and 4-H Events. Nicole has an A.S. degree in Agricultural Science from Morrisville State College and a B.A. in Biology from Utica College of Syracuse University. Her background and interest in farming, large animals, crop and field work is a wonderful asset for extension and we all look forward to working with Nicole in preparing our upcoming events and activities.
Cornell Cooperative Extension welcomes Amanda Speer as the new Youth and Family Program Development Coordinator. Amanda has a B.A. in Mass Communications (Radio/TV/Film) from Rowan University and an M.S. in Organizational Leadership from Mercy College. Locally she has worked as a morning radio jock for WSUL and as a Program Director for both WSUL and the Center for Discovery. Amanda has a strong theatrical background and has created theatre programs for children, teens, seniors, and the disabled. She believes in providing opportunities for youth empowerment and is looking forward to developing leadership programs for area teens. On a side note, catch Amanda performing as a cabaret singer on Saturday nights at the Bradstan Hotel in White Lake!
