Marvelous Marine Mammals
What is a seal? Are they different from sea lions? Do whales and seals live around Long Island? We’ll explore some fascinating marine mammals, go on a short beach walk to look for winter visitors, and do a fun craft . Please dress for the weather!

Pollution Solutions
How does pollution get into the waters around Long Island? How can we help prevent that from happening? How do our salt marshes help clean the water? Find out how you can help preserve our planet’s precious water supply as we learn about pollution solutions through hands-on activities, games, and a craft.

Spring Beach Walk
Come and explore the beautiful sandy beaches of Long Island’s South Shore with us! We’ll look for marine creatures that call the salt marsh and barriers beaches home, and learn some fun facts about them. Make sure to dress for the weather as we’ll be walking outdoors for 1.5 hours. Weather permitting.
