The Backyard Gardener is Seneca County Cornell Cooperative Extension's Community Horticulture newsletter.  To promote timeliness of seasonal gardening, lawn, pest and disease information, we now have a two-sided format that is published biweekly from April to October.  We include upcoming events of interest to residents as well as timely information to help educate the reader on lawn care, landscaping, flowers, vegetables, pests, diseases, invasive species, wildlife management, composting, birds, trees and shrubs and much more.  For any urgent issues, please call our Master Gardener hotline, Tuesday or Thursday from 9Am to 11AM, April through October. 
 
We will have the current issue as well as archived issues.  Readers may use this information for education purposes only as long as they site the original source of the news article.
